Russian Invasion of Ukraine & The Cost of Paper Based Products

Following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Boxx-Direct has performed a review to identify any indirect links to Russia or products with a Russian country of origin through our UK wholesale supply. We can confirm that Boxx-Direct has no direct trading links with Russia.

However, there have been a small number of identified paper products, sourced from third party paper wholesalers which are manufactured in Russia. No further orders will be placed with the paper mills identified and existing orders have been cancelled. While we appreciate that this will increase the challenges in sourcing paper and lead to further cost inflation, we are strongly of the view that this is the right and responsible thing to do. We are working hard to ensure that our customers experience minimal impact resulting from the disruption to paper supplies.

As I’m sure you are aware, the paper market is extremely volatile at the moment, and as such the prices are changing considerably day to day. We will exercise the right to amend prices accordingly in line with increases, but as you have come to expect from us we remain competitve and we will always endeavour to keep your prices as low as possible.
