Office plants - look after them and they'll look after you!

Office plants - look after them and they'll look after you!

As well as looking great and boosting our mood, plants are great for filtering chemicals in the air that come from carpets, detergents and machines, leaving us with cleaner, healthier air to breathe. This can reduce headaches, eye and nose irritation and even stress, helping to create a healthier, happier workplace.

We’ve picked the best plants that are great at air purification, but super easy to take care of:

PEACE LILY

With long lasting white flowers this plant looks great and doesn’t need much love, doesn’t like direct sun so will happily brighten up a shady corner, cut the flowers off as they die to encourage new ones.

MADAGASCAR DRAGON TREE

Add a tropical twist to the office with probably the best toxin removing plant there is, will grow up to a metre tall.

SPIDER PLANT

A throw back to the 80’s but very much on trend and pretty much impossible to kill! Loves a windowsill, filing cabinet or bookcase where its shoots can send off new plants (called pups!), which you can pot up and get a new plant for free.

ALL:  Water once a week in summer, every other week in winter, and feed them with a bit of plant fertiliser in the water once a month if you can.
